Terms of Use

Watchguard-vpn.net is an independent fan website created for general education about WatchGuard Mobile VPN with SSL. It is not owned, operated, sponsored, approved, or endorsed by WatchGuard Technologies. By using this website, you accept these terms and the limits below.

Information, not official documentation

Articles explain general remote-access concepts. They are not official manuals, release notes, advisories, warranties, professional consulting, or instructions tailored to a network. Behavior varies with Fireware, client version, operating system, authentication service, license, and local policy. Current official documentation and the responsible administrator always take precedence.

No software, licensing, or credentials

This site does not host or distribute installers, profiles, certificates, keys, subscriptions, passwords, multi-factor codes, or accounts. Obtain software only through a channel approved by your organization or an official WatchGuard source. Never upload secrets, private configuration, or sensitive logs here. A download discussion does not authorize installation on a managed device.

No support relationship

Reading a page, using the demonstration form, or sending editorial feedback does not create a customer, support, consulting, or fiduciary relationship. We cannot reset accounts, inspect a Firebox, approve access, verify an installer, or respond to an outage. Contact your IT team, service provider, or WatchGuard through an appropriate official channel.

Trademarks and intellectual property

WatchGuard, related product names, logos, and marks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance identifies the subject of independent commentary and does not imply affiliation. Original site text may not be republished as if written or endorsed by WatchGuard. External materials remain subject to their owners’ rights.

User and organization responsibility

You are responsible for company policy, licenses, laws, and administrator instructions. Do not bypass access controls, disable endpoint protection, probe networks, share accounts, or change a managed configuration because of general information here. Administrators remain responsible for architecture, backups, change control, policy review, monitoring, and deployment testing.

Security incidents

If you receive an unexpected authentication prompt, suspect stolen credentials, lose a managed device, or believe a network is under attack, use the organization’s incident process immediately. Do not send incident evidence through the demonstration form. Timely escalation to authorized staff is more important than experimenting with settings.

Comparisons and links

Comparisons are broad editorial summaries, not guarantees that one solution is best for every environment. Features, pricing, compatibility, and support can change. External links are contextual; we do not control their availability, content, security, or privacy practices.

Availability and limitation

We aim for readable, accurate content but provide this site on an “as available” basis without warranties of completeness, fitness, uninterrupted access, or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, the site and contributors are not liable for losses caused by reliance on general information, unapproved changes, unsafe downloads, or use contrary to organizational policy.

Changes and contact

We may revise these terms as the site evolves. Continued use after publication means acceptance of the current version. Editorial questions may be sent to support@watchguard-vpn.net; product and account questions belong with official support. Last updated: August 23, 2026.
